Actor Ryuki Takahashi announced that he will graduate from D-BOYS actor group and from the the entertainment business.
He revealed in his blog that the reason behind of his sudden retirement is to focus on his health and medical treatment. He states that he noticed something unusual about his health last month. When he went to the hospital, he was told that he would require thorough checkup, and was eventually told that he required long-term recuperation.
After consulting his family and staff, he decided to retire from the industry. He thanked fans for their support and apologized for this sudden announcement. He states that after he recovers, he wants to "take the next step."
For most fans, he is best known for playing Kengo Utahoshi in Kamen Rider Fourze and Ryoma Echizen in the Prince of Tennis musicals. From all of us here, we wish that he'll recover soon.
