Discotek Media announced that eighth Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider BLACK will get a North American Blu-ray release!

This is the first Kamen Rider series that Discotek Media release on home video as Shout! Factory previously released Kamen Rider Zero-One, and just recently, Kamen Rider Kuuga on Blu-ray, making this the third Kamen Rider series available on home video in North America. Aside from including all episodes of the TV series in HD, the set also includes the reunion roundtable discussion, a photo gallery, and a new essay by Mike Dent.
Kamen Rider BLACK follows stepbrothers Kotaro Minami and Nobuhiko Akizuki, who were both born during a solar eclipse at the same day and the same time, making them candidates to become the Creation King, two candidates who will fight to the death until one of them becomes Century King, the leader of the cult organization known as Gorgom. The two were transformed into cyborgs, but prior to the completion of the process, Kotaro managed to escape. Using his newfound abilities, he transforms into Kamen Rider Black and fight Gorgom and their mutants.
