Netflix announced that the Kakegurui spin-off, Kakegurui Twin will get an anime adaptation!
Based on the manga of the same name, the series takes place a year prior to the events of the main Kakegurui series as it follows Mary Saotome (role reprised by Minami Tanaka) and how she got her start at this gambling-addicted school.
This isn't the first time Kakegurui Twin was adapted as the series was previously adapted into a live-action series this year, with the cast from the live-action adaptation reprising the roles for the spin-off. Just like the original Kakegurui anime, studio MAPPA will animate the spin-off. Kakegurui Twin is set for an August 2022 worldwide release, exclusively on Netflix.
