It was announced that creature designer, modeler, and illustrator Yasushi Nirasawa (age 52) passed away due to kidney failure last Tuesday, February 2.
Best known for his work in multiple Heisei Kamen Rider shows namely, Kamen Rider Blade, Kamen Rider Kabuto, Kamen Rider Den-O, and Kamen Rider Decade. He also did designs for Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger and the GARO series.
Outside of tokusatsu, he did creature designs for the Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Guilstein, Hells, Bleach the Movie: Memories of Nobody, Zetman, and Iron Man: Rise of Technovore anime titles.
