The official Hana-Kimi anime website posted the teaser trailer for the upcoming anime, which revealed the show's main cast.
The series stars Aya Yamane (Show by Rock!!) as Mizuki Ashiya, Taku Yashiro (Tiger Mask W) as Izumi Sano, and Kikunosuke Toya (Chainsaw Man) as Shuichi Nakatsu.
Announced 20 years after the manga ended, it was revealed that prior to Nakajo-sensei's passing, she was involved in working on the anime adaptation as she looked over the rough drafts of the characters and the scenario, and was looking forward in seeing it. Details such as the cast and staff are yet to be revealed, but it is confirmed that Crunchyroll will be streaming the series in select territories.
