The official Gundam portal site announced the two projects that are part of the upcoming Gundam Build _Extra Battle Project alongside with an updated promo video that features the logos of the two new anime that's part of said project.
The first project is Gundam Build Fighters: GM's Counterattack and will focus on Sei Iori, the protagonist of the first Gundam Build Fighters anime and the original cast in an all new story. The director of the first anime series, Kenji Nagasaki returns to helm the project. In addition, more staff from the first anime will also work in this anime, namely character designers Kenichi Ohnuki and Suzuhito Yasuda, and mecha designers Kunio Okawara, Junichi Akutsu, Junya Ishigaki, Kanetake Ebikawa, and Kenji Teraoka.
The second project is Gundam Build Fighters Battleogue, and is a "dream battle" short film featuring various situations and Gunpla. Directing the short film is Gundam Build Fighters key animator and mecha animator Masami Obari will direct the film. Both projects will have scripts written by Yousuke Kuroda.
Lastly, Bandai revealed new model kits for the franchise, namely the Ninpulse Gundam and Chinaguy, both will be available this July. In addition, new Gundam that will debut in the GM's Counterattack project, and a GM, both of which are set for an August release.
