The official Kamen Rider Twitter account announced that the Kamen Rider W spin-off series, Fuuto PI will get an anime film focusing on Kamen Rider Skull!
Titled "Fuuto PI: Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull", this film was teased at the end of Fuuto PI anime and is based on the Begins Night arc as seen in the Kamen Rider W & Decade: Movie Wars 2010 film. Serving as the origin to Kamen Rider W, this version will expand the events not seen in the original live-action Kamen Rider W series, and it is an experience that only anime can provide.
The cast from the anime, namely: Yoshimasa Hosoya and Kouki Uchiyama as Shotaro and Philip aka Kamen Rider W, Akira Sekine as Tokime, Mikako Komatsu as Akiko Narumi, Makoto Furukawa as Ryu Terui/Kamen Rider Accel, and Daisuke Ono as Yukiji Bando/Aurora Dopant. Joining the cast is Kenjiro Tsuda (Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, Jujutsu Kaisen) as Sokichi Narumi/Kamen Rider Skull.
The staff from the anime will return to work in the upcoming film, namely: director Yousuke Kabashima with Ayataka Tanemura as assistant director. Scriptwriter Tatsuto Higuchi with Kamen Rider W head writer and Fuuto PI writer Riku Sanjo serving as script supervisor; music composed by Kotaro Nakagawa and Shuhei Naruse. The film will be once again animated by Studio KAI.
Fuuto PI: Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull is set for a limited theatrical run this November 8th in Japan.
