The official Fairy Tail anime website has revealed the cast and staff of the upcoming anime.
It is confirmed that the main staff from the second anime of the series will return to work on the final series. The series will be once again animated by A-1 Pictures and Bridge and is directed by Shinji Ishihira (Log Horizon). The series is written by Masahi Sogo (Rurouni Kenshin) with character designs by Shinji Takeuchi (Gintama) and Toshihiko Sano (Heybot!). Shoji Hata (The Ancient Magus Bride) returns to sound design the series with music composed by Yasuharu Takanashi (Naruto Shippuden).
Lastly, the main cast of the series are confirmed to reprise their roles in the series. These returning cast members are: Tetsuya Kakihara (Gurren Lagann) as Natsu, Aya Hirano (Haruhi Suzumiya) as Lucy, Rie Kugimiya (Fullmetal Alchemist) as Happy, Yuichi Nakamura (Mobile Suit Gundam 00) as Gray, and Sayaka Ohara (xxxHOLiC) as Erza.
The original manga follows the notorious Fairy Tail mage guild and its various adventures. Fairy Tail's final season is set to premiere this fall.
