Because Yamato is the only "adult" in this situation, he pretty much takes control of these three zyumans and much to my surprise, puts them in a leash. I get that they are curious and all, but is there a need for a leash aside from the obvious joke that these three are bipedal animals? I mean, he can just cuff them or something, but what the heck, it was a funny moment and I got to admit, I laughed at it.
Also brought up in this scene are each zyuman's bestial traits, not only it serves purpose in the show's overall narrative, but it gives each zyuman a distinct trait for the kids to easily remember. Leo is the loud one, Sela has the best ears, and Amu has the best taste. As for Tusk, much to my surprise, instead of looking for the missing Champion Symbol, we see him brood and remember his life in the zyuman world. For a guy who wants to go home, we barely had a chance to see him look for his ticket back home.
With their tails up, the zyumans head to the scene, and much to their surprise, even with no powers, Yamato is determined to fight the enemy Dethgalien. It is all thanks to this that Tusk acknowledges Yamato and thus, we have all five Zyuohgers transforming together for the first time. The action for this scene is top notch; the way they used each Zyuohger's skills in battle is really great and highlights all their skills properly. From Zyuoh Eagle's flying dive, to Zyuoh Shark's ground diving, which doesn't make sense, but who cares, it looks really cool, everyone has a chance to shine in this battle.
As expected, we get a giant fight, and boy, I love that this episode continues to incorporate the Cube Animal's "aerodynamic" look to fight the Dethgalien. Since Cube Shark and Cube Lion got the spotlight in the previous episode, it is time for Cube Tiger and Cube Elephant to take center stage. What I love about the Zyuoh King 154 is that unlike Zyuoh King 123, 154 prefer kicks over punches and slashes. It makes this formation distinct from 123 not just visually, but when it comes to skill and battle style. As for its finisher, well, it's a cool kick. There's nothing much to say about it, it's a cool looking kick.
