The official MAiDiGiTV YouTube channel posted a clip coming from the upcoming Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna film, in which we see the Digimon 02 kids meet up!
Just like the original Digimon Adventure DigiDestined/Chosen Children, the four 02 kids now have new voice actors. Fukujuurou Katayama (Ping Pong the Animation) will play Daisuke "Davis" Motomiya, Arthur Lounsbery (Star-Myu) will play Ken Ichijoji, Ayaka Asai (The Testament of Sister New Devil) will play Miyako "Yolei" Inoue, and Yoshitaka Yamaya (Assassination Classroom) will play Iori "Cody" Hida.
Toei Animation will once again work on the project with Digimon Adventure series producer Hiromi Seki serving as the project's supervisor. Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru will once again work as the project's character designer and Kenji Watanabe as the project's monster designer. The film will be directed by Tomohisa Taguchi (Twin Star Exorcists) at Yumeta Company with Seiji Tachikawa (Blue Spring Ride) serving as the film's chief animation director. Digimon Adventure and Digimon Frontier writer Akatsuki Yamatoya will write the film's script.
Billed as Taichi and Agumon's final adventure, Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna is set for a February 21, 2020 release in Japan.
