Studio Trigger announced at this year's Anime Expo that the Delicious in Dungeon's upcoming second season will make its debut in October 2027 and will once again stream globally, exclusively on Netflix.
In addition, a new poster for the upcoming season is revealed. The announcement also confirmed the staff members returning for the new season, namely: director Yoshihiro Miyajima, story editor Kimiko Ueno, character designer Naoki Takeda, music composer Yasunori Mitsuda, and sound director Kouhei Yoshida. The anime is once again animated and produced by studio Trigger (Kill la Kill).
Based on Ryoko Kui's manga of the same name, the series follows Laois and his party in their quest to save his sister, Falin who was consumed by the red dragon in their quest inside the dungeon. The series details their adventures in said dungeon to rescue Falin and how they survive from it, and it is by consuming the monsters that they have encountered with the meals they create.
The first season of the anime debuted in 2024 and ran a total of 24 episodes.
