It was announced at the Anime Festa event that the Dandadan anime's upcoming third season is confirmed for a 2027 release.
In addition, a new poster for the season was revealed and it features both Okarun, Momo, and Turbo Granny, with Vamola in the back. The upcoming season will continue the Kaiju Arc, which introduced the mysterious kaiju-wearing exosuit alien named Vamola.
Other details such as the returning cast and staff are yet to be announced. The previous two seasons were animated by Science SARU (Devilman Crybaby, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off), with Fuga Yamashiro (Tatami Time Machine Blues) serving as director and Abel Góngora (Scott Pilgrim Takes Off) joining him in director duties in the second season.
