The official Chihayafuru manga Twitter account has revealed the theme songs for the anime adaptation's upcoming third season.
It was announced that 99RadioService returns to perform the show's new opening theme "COLORFUL" and Band Harassment will perform the show's new ending theme "Hitomebore" (Love at First Sight).
The three cast members of the previous two anime seasons, namely: Asami Seto, Mamoru Miyano, and Yoshimasa Hosoya will reprise their roles as Chihaya Ayase, Taichi Mashima, and Arata Wataya respectively. Anime studio Madhouse will once again animate the series with director Morio Asaka returning to direct it.
Chihayafuru Season 3 is set to premiere this October on NTV's AnichU programming block. The anime was planned to run for a half a year, giving the season at least 24-25 episodes just like the previous two seasons.
