Sony Pictures Entertainment posted a new trailer for the upcoming Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc anime film. They posted the trailer in both Japanese with English subtitles and the English dub.
As its name suggest, the film will cover the Chainsaw Man manga's Reze Arc, which covers chapters 40-52 of the manga.
Denji became "Chainsaw Man", a boy with a devil's heart, and is now part of Special Division 4's devil hunters. After a date with Makima, the woman of his dreams, Denji takes shelter from the rain. There he meets Reze, a girl who works in a café.
The anime's main cast will all reprise their respective roles for the upcoming film with Reina Ueda (SSSS.Gridman) as Reze. In addition, the staff from the Chainsaw Man anime will work on said film, most notably director Tatsuya Yoshihara, screenwriter Hiroshi Seko, character designer Kazutaka Sugiyama, and music composer kensuke ushio with studio MAPPA animating the film.
Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc is set for a September 19th release in Japan, and is exclusively coming to theaters worldwide as well.
