Chainsaw Man Creator Tatsuki Fujimoto's One-Shots Get Anime Adaptations

Amazon Prime Video announced that Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto's various one-shots will get an anime adaptation under the Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 anime anthology series.

These one-shots were created by Fujimoto between the ages 17-26, and were later compiled into two volumes, namely: 17-21 and 22-26. Different creators and studios will adapt all eight one-shots, and they are:

• A Couple of Clucking Chickens Were Still Kickin' in the Schoolyard - Follows two survivors who bond in a post-apocalypic world. Seishiro Nagaya (Backflip!!) will direct and write the screenplay, which will be animated by ZEXCS (Diabolik Lovers).
  
• Sasaki Stopped a Bullet - A story that explores the intense emotions of adolescence. Nobukage Kimura (Orange) will direct with a script written by Teruko Utsumi (Pokémon: Paldean Winds), which will be animated by Lapin Track (You and I Are Polar Opposites).
  
• Love is Blind - A sci-fi romantic comedy about love on a cosmic scale. Nobuyuki Takeuchi (Fireworks) will direct with a script written by Teruko Utsumi, which will be animated by Lapin Track.
  
• Shikaku - A twisted love story of an unhinged assassin girl. Naoya Ando (Paradox Live The Animation) will direct and write the screenplay, which will be animated by GRAPH77.
  
• Mermaid Rhapsody - A touching romance between a boy and a mermaid centered around an underwater piano. Tetsuaki Watanabe (BLUE LOCK) will direct with a script written by Tatsuo Kobayashi, which will be animated by 100Studio (Tatsuo Kobayashi).
  
• Woke-Up-as-a-Girl Syndrome - One day, a boy wakes up as a girl and is now treated as such. Kazuaki Terasawa (The Ancient Magus' Bride) will direct and write the screenplay, which will be animated by Studio Kafka (The Ancient Magus' Bride).
  
• Nayuta of the Prophecy - Follows the bond between siblings, Nayuta and Kenji as Nayuta is prophesied to destroy the world. Tetsuaki Watanabe will direct and write the screenplay, which will be animated by 100Studio.
  
• Sisters - Follows the rivalry, conflict, and growth between artistically inclined sisters. Osamu Honma (Ya Boy Kongming!) will direct with a script written by Yoko Yonaiyama (Skip and Loafer), which will be animated by P.A.WORKS (Angel Beats!).

Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 is set to premiere on November 7th, exclusively on Prime Video.
