Netflix posted a video, announcing that the filming for Alice in Borderland's second season has wrapped up.
The stars of the first season, namely: Kento Yamazaki (Kingdom, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable) and Tao Tsuchiya (Ultraman Zero, Rurouni Kenshin) will reprise their roles as Ryohei Arisu and Yuzuha Usagi respectively. In addition, the video also revealed additional cast members for the upcoming season, most of which are actors who reprised their roles from the first season. They are:
Though not revealed in the video, also part of the show's cast are: Yutaro Watanabe as Kodai Tatta, and Tsuyoshi Abe (Hana Yori Dango) as Keiichi Kuzuryu.
In the series, obsessed gamer Arisu suddenly finds himself in a strange, emptied-out version of Tokyo in which he and his friends must compete in dangerous games in order to survive. Directed by Shinsuke Sato (Bleach, Kingdom), Alice in Borderland Season 2 is set to premiere this December worldwide only on Netflix.
