It was announced that actor Takeru Satoh (Kamen Rider Den-O, Rurouni Kenshin) will star in the Million Dollar Man film.
Based on Genki Kawamura's Oku Otoko novel, the upcoming film follows a young man who is desperate for money and wins the lottery, but his friend then steals his money.
Also part of the film's cast are: Issei Takahashi (Shin Godzilla), Tatsuya Fujiwara (Death Note, Battle Royale), Kazuki Kitamura (Godzilla: Final Wars, Parasyte), Erika Sawajiri (1 Liter of Tears) and Elaiza Ikeda (Wolf Girl and Black Prince). Directed by Rurouni Kenshin director Keishi Otomo, the film is set for an October 19th release in Japan.
