Daiki Tomiyasu (Pokémon Sun & Moon) serves as the series' chief director and Maki Odaira (Pokémon Sun & Moon) directing the series. Kunihiko Yuyama (Pokémon anime franchise) serves as creative supervisor, Shoji Yonemura (Kamen Rider Kabuto, Smile PreCure!) writing the series, Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia) composing the music, and Shuhei Yasuda (Haganai) as the sound director.
Pocket Monsters is set to premiere in Japan with a one-hour special on November 17th on TV Tokyo at 5:30pm. The series will then air every Sunday at 6pm, replacing the Pokémon Sun & Moon anime.
